Ever since I upgraded to FireFox 2.0, I've been using alot of RSS feeds. And I thought it would be great to have a LFS-T RSS feed. Makes it allot easier Tongue. Can they be applied to YaBB?

There is a mod available for this version which allows rss feeds, though there is a few hoops to jump through to get it to work well. I'm not confident in my abilities to tackle this without any hiccups. There is a new version on the way (not sure how far away it is) which may make things easier and I think I would wait until then to make an attempt.

Dan, what kind of information would you want to receive? New posts? The newsbanner?

Frankly, I don't really see the need for RSS Feeds. If you're already on the web, why would you check wich topics have new posts on another page, if you could more easily just go to LFS-Torque itself. Saves time, as on LFS-Torque you can see the new posts and also read them.

No... The thing is, with Firefox. You can get toolbars that show you what’s going on.

See below.

Ok, that is usable, but I don't see much people using it.

i'm assuming what Dan posted is a feed for a page/site that gets updated quite regularly. i guess that make sense, but it cant be that much harder to just open up the page and view it yourself.

how exactly would you "feed" for a forum? i dont quite understand it.

Before I formatted, I had a few forums up there. You click on the tab, and it would come up with the category and the name of the topic. Each time there is a new post, it will go to the top of the list.  Smiley
