Just a friendly reminder, if you have nothing much to say, then don't post.

Have a good time, enjoy.  Wink

I was getting 59.3 FPS for THE LONGEST TIME till one day I turned off Vsync and im now getting upwards of 120+ FPS at times (Averaging at 89-100 most of the time)

And the game itself runs smoother and less graphic lag.

Hope this helps someone...

I found that limiting frames to 100 or Vsync actually makes the fps more stable and fixes fps spikes or 'jolting', resulting in more consistent and predictable performance. Also doesn't put as much strain on your pc.

Turning v-sync off with my monitor (LCD) makes LFS look quite horrible with all the horizontal tearing going on. It's especially noticable in the wheels. I remember the good old S1 days when I had a professional CRT which supported 100hz and v-syncing it made LFS run and look so damn smooth.

I don't have any horrible tearing. I have seen it before though, when I was using a crappy video driver.
